On July 5 – 8 2007 Marilyn and I traveled to the very small settlement of Mountain Springs, Nevada, about 30 miles southwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. Marilyn’s sister Laura and her husband Jonathan were hosting a family reunion at their ranch for Laura’s 50th birthday celebration on July 6th.
These are pictures we took on our outings. Larissa and I jogged around their ranch, and Elizabeth, Larissa and I traveled to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park to explore and walk. On our last day, as we were returning to Las Vegas to catch our plane, we drove Marilyn over to the park, so she could see it.
Adrienne, Laura’s daughter, was working as a dancer at Margaritaville in Las Vegas, which was a little less than an hour away. We decided to go and check out her show on one day during our visit.
Adrienne’s young daughter Gracie and her big cousin Larissa enjoyed eating a meal after we all saw the new Disney movie “Ratatouille” together.
